We love going on road trips so yesterday we packed up the kids to go down to Carlsbad to see The Flower Fields. We had to do some errands first like mail out a few orders and get some food. Everything went down smoothly until we hit traffic, which was expected, until it felt like we’ve been sitting for hours. Well, traffic went all the way from our place to Long Beach! On top of that, we got a ticket for speeding! I kid you not. The first moment traffic loosened, we got a ticket. Oh well.
The Flower Fields has amazing flowers in all color and gorgeous views of the ocean from a distance. We took the kids for a walk, which I think is much better than riding their wagon, you won’t feel tired because of the cool, gentle breeze, and just the welcoming feel of the place. It’s good for families with kids. It gets crowded, though, so come early.
